Jenny works at the Oxford Health Hub in the West Oxford Community Centre.
She trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and holds a BSc (Hons) and a licence to practice acupuncture (LicAc). She practices a gentle yet powerful combination of Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, which enables her to understand and treat ill health at a deep level. Jenny is especially interested in using acupuncture as a tool to bring balance back to the emotional lives of her patients, as she feels this is an area where many people in the stressful modern world suffer greatly. Chinese Medicine is known for recognising the link between our mind and body, and Jenny uses this in her practice.
Jenny’s interest in Chinese Medicine began when studying Qi Gong whilst living in Thailand, she was amazed by the powerful effects such simple and effective movements could make. She continues to practice Qi Gong along with yoga and meditation. She is also a very keen cook, and is dedicated to educating her patients about eating in a way that supports their return to health.
Jenny is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and is committed to running a safe and professional practice. She has experience working with different conditions, but upholds the view that acupuncture treats people and not diseases, and so treats each patient in a unique way to them.
Jenny is proud to be part of the team at Oxford Community Health Hub, a pioneering centre completely dedicated to providing excellent levels of care at affordable prices. The clinic is located at Oxford Community Health Hub in West Oxford Community Centre on Botley Road.
